Hi everyone! I'm doing my first bike trip, ive been on the road for about 16 days now through France and Belgium and I'm in Milan right now. I'd wanted to go to Venice by following the Po river but it's quite hot and there's not many campsites on the route (I'm traveling with tent and I want to stay in ho(s)tels the as least as possible).
Does anyone have an advice on this? I'll be going to Pavia today and then see; maybe by train to Bologna and cycle up along the Adriatic coast? Where do you guys sleep when there's no campsites or Warmshowers nearby? I'm a young (23 y.o.) solo female traveller and a bit scared to just knock on some doors, but maybe that's a fear to overcome?
