I'm leaving ASAP to tour north on the Eastern Divide Trail. Leaving from Helen, GA by May 1, 2023. Touring on a mountain bike with front and rear panniers capable of holding lots of food and water.
Attached are pictures from a month-long tour in Southern Arizona done in January 2023 to show how I roll... Come join me at start or along the way. Plan to cover 25 - 50 miles per day and sneak-camp along the way at sites identified in the GPX file for the route. This is not an easy tour since there are many steep climbs, but it is not technical in nature....
