Spain, Morocco, West Africa adventure late 2022

Hello my touring friends

I am planning a tour from the UK to The Gambia starting in October 2022. Around 6000km total across Spain, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Senegal and The Gambia.

I am particularly looking to team up with anyone who is planning on cycling the Western Sahara and Mauritania section south in December 2022. I'm riding solo.

Anyone is welcome to join any part of the adventure so if you're interested or have any questions please get in touch

Current route "plans" and ideas are in a bit more detail on my very amateur blog here where you can also see more about me - all my plans are pretty flexible

Thanks warmshowers community, you never let me down

Rob

Hi Rob and Tomas!

Hi Rob and Tomas!

In the next days, I start from Germany via France, Spain and towards Morocco (at least that is the plan). So roughly, I would be in Morocco in November and make my way south in Morocco. Would be great to meet up in Spain, take a ferry together or meet up somewhere in Morocco. My current plan is to go to Nador and then through the desert south towards Ouzazarte and up to the coast near Agadir and then potentially southbound from there (yet, campsites, water, food etc. will be few and far between there...).

Cheers,
Philipp

Time in December

Hey Philipp

I envy your timeframe:-)
I will only have 4ish weeks in December (between jobs).

Whereabout will you be by then?
Do you cycle on tarmac only?

best, Melina from Zurich
